Eva Jiřikovská

Eva Jiřikovská is a Czech theatre scenographer and costume designer who ranks among the most distinctive figures of contemporary Czech scenography. From 2004 to 2016, she worked at the Slovácké Theatre, where she created dozens of stage designs and significantly contributed to the visual identity of the company. She has collaborated with the National Theatre, Prague City Theatres, Divadlo Husa na provázku, the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre, Moravian Theatre Olomouc, and the J. K. Tyl Theatre. She also maintains a long-term collaboration with the Hradišťan ensemble. For her costumes for the production Kalibův zločin, she was nominated for the Alfréd Radok Award in 2012. The media describe her as “a distinctive personality of Czech scenography.”
