Michaela Foitová
Michaela Foitová is one of the key faces of the contemporary drama ensemble at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec. An actress who brings a rare combination of naturalistic authenticity and unexpected energy to her roles, she has won over audiences with her ability to breathe life into both fragile heroines and distinctive, fierce characters.
A native of Třebíč, she headed to North Bohemia immediately after completing her studies at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno. She made her Liberec debut in 2015 as Mirka in the comedy A Slap's Price, or Gottwald’s Shoes. Since then, she has become an indispensable member of the ensemble, excelling in a wide range of roles—such as the vibrant Checca in The Brawling at Chioggia, Prouzová in Tomáš Dianiška's cult hit Atomic Kitty, or the thirteen-year-old Semira in the gritty drama War. She fully utilized her versatile talents, including singing and dancing, in the musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
