Eliška Jansová
Eliška Jansová is a unique talent who effortlessly combines proficiency in several musical instruments, dance, and dramatic acting with a gift for mathematics and physics, which she studied in high school. Since the 2016/17 season, she has been an indispensable member of the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, where she instantly won over audiences and critics with her spontaneity and natural charm.
A Prague native and a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU), she performed on stages such as Divadlo v Dlouhé and the The Drama Club (Činoherní klub) before settling in Liberec. There, she shined as Bety in the cult hit Atomic Kitty and as Shakespeare’s muse, Viola, in Shakespeare in Love. The general public also knows her from television, primarily as a princess in the fairy tales The Princess and the Scribe or The Midsummer Wreath. She also appeared in the mini-series Bohéma. Her versatility is further highlighted by her ability to play the saxophone, piano, and clarinet, as well as her years spent with the Bufo dance theatre.
