Marija Havran

Marija Havran is a Slovak stage designer and costume designer. She studied scenography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and collaborates with leading theatres in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, especially the Slovak National Theatre. Her work is characterized by strong visual stylization, attention to detail, and an ability to connect costume design with the dramatic character of a role. She has designed costumes for a number of acclaimed productions and received the prestigious Slovak theatre award DOSKY.
