Csongor Kassai

Csongor Kassai is a Slovak actor of Hungarian origin whose charisma and natural screen presence have made him one of the most recognizable faces of Czech and Slovak cinema and theatre. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, performed with the Radošinské naivné divadlo, and has appeared at venues such as the Slovak National Theatre and Divadlo Aréna. International audiences know him especially from the Oscar-nominated film Divided We Fall, while he has also delivered notable performances in films such as The Teacher, The Devil Knows Why, and Sluneční stát. On television, he has appeared in series including Dunaj, k vašim službám, Profesionáli, Ordinácia v ružovej záhrade, and the Czech project Sex O’Clock. In 2023, he portrayed the spirit Ariel in Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Summer Shakespeare Festival.
