David Vávra

An actor, architect, and writer. Together with Milan Šteindler, he co-founded the Sklep Theatre in Prague during the 1970s, where he also performed. As an actor, he has appeared in dozens of films, including The Prague Five (Pražská pětka), Smoke (Kouř), The Stone Bridge (Kamenný most), and Bear with Us (Chata na prodej). On television, he achieved widespread fame for his role as Egon in the "Alles Gute" German language sketches on the satirical show Česká soda. He also gained great popularity as the host of the documentary TV series Šumná města, which explores modern architecture.
