Since arriving from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno in 1998, Tomáš Impseil has become an absolutely indispensable all-rounder for the Liberec ensemble. He effortlessly alternates between Shakespearean villains, musical stars, and modern comedic characters.
Tomáš Impseil’s range is essentially limitless. Audiences adore him as Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire, the villainous Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, or Lord Wessex in Shakespeare in Love. He is a cornerstone of all major musicals, from The Full Monty to Ballad for a Bandit. His acting is defined by a rare combination of psychological depth and a natural gift for instant improvisation.
