Viktor Braunreiter
Viktor Braunreiter is a Czech theatre actor, host, and theatre principal, born in Karlovy Vary, where he has been closely connected to the local cultural scene throughout his life. He has worked with almost every theatre ensemble in Karlovy Vary – from KloBrouk Theatre (Kočka zadkem k radnici, Peklo, příjem, Ahoj, umíte česky?), through Bezdirky (Plešatá zpěvačka, Spermie), to Divadelní studio D3. He also performs at the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, where he continues to expand his acting repertoire with notable roles.
In 2006, he founded Pouliční divadlo Viktora Braunreitera (Viktor Braunreiter’s Street Theatre), which he still leads as its principal. He organizes theatrical guided tours of Karlovy Vary and brings historical sites to life – particularly popular are the night tours of Loket Castle and Horní hrad. He regularly hosts concerts of the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, the International Folklore Festival, and the Karlovy Vary Night of Theatres.
