
Vladislav Kracík
Vladislav Kracík is a Czech theatre director, dramaturg, playwright, radio scriptwriter, and educator. He is a co-founder and, since 2007, the artistic director of the Tramtarie Theatre in Olomouc. He graduated in Theatre Studies from Palacký University Olomouc, where he currently serves as an external lecturer. In his directorial work, he focuses on successful stage adaptations of literary and cinematic masterpieces (Flowers for Algernon / Růže pro Algernon, Romance for Bugle / Romance pro křídlovku) as well as original comedies (Cabaret Naked Shakespeare / Kabaret Nahatý Shakespeare, Even Batman Gets Sad Sometimes / I na Batmana občas padne smutek). His original work for children and radio plays for the Czech Radio (such as Taxi Tales / Pohádky z taxíku – a seven-part series for the Hajaja show) are also highly significant.
