
Jiří Švec
Jiří Švec is a Czech actor, singer, and composer. He graduated in Rock Opera from the International Conservatory in Prague and is currently a member of the ensemble at the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb and performs at the Karlovy Vary City Theatre.
As a multi-talented artist, he excels in both drama and musicals. His prominent roles include Josef Čížek in the production Divided We Fall (Musíme si pomáhat), Jaroslav Šafrán in the musical comedy If a Thousand Clarinets (Kdyby tisíc klarinetov), and the title role in the RockOpera Romeo and Juliet. A significant part of his work involves composing stage music, which he has created for dozens of performances in theaters in Plzeň, Cheb, and for Theatre Dagmar.
Jiří Švec is also an active musician (playing piano, guitar, and ukulele) and the founder of the Rock iN Roll festival, a member of the band The Häff.. Television audiences know him from series such as Zoo, The Street (Ulice), Blue Code (Modrý kód), or Sunny (Slunečná). He is also involved in dubbing and owns a recording studio where he works as a voice specialist.
