Jiří Švec

Jiří Švec is a Czech theater and TV actor, singer, and composer. He studied rock opera at the International Conservatory in Prague. His career is primarily linked to the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, where he is a permanent member, while also regularly performing at the Karlovy Vary City Theatre. With his versatile talent, he succeeds in both drama and musicals. Audiences have seen him as Josef Čížek in Divided We Fall (Musíme si pomáhat) or the title role in the rock opera Romeo and Juliet. He also writes stage music for dozens of productions in Cheb, Plzeň, and the Dagmar Theatre. Off-stage, he is active in music, plays in the band The Häff, and founded the Rock iN Roll festival. TV viewers know him from hit series like Zoo, Ulice, Modrý kód, or Slunečná. Besides acting on camera, he works professionally in dubbing and as a voice specialist in his own recording studio.
