Jiří Krampol
Jiří Krampol was an inseparable icon of Czech entertainment—an actor of incredible vitality and the voice that brought immortality to Jean-Paul Belmondo in the Czech lands.
He began his professional career at the Divadlo Na Fidlovačce, but moved to the Divadlo Na zábradlí later that same year. He subsequently became a key figure at the Semafor Theatre, where he formed a popular creative duo with Miloslav Šimek. Beyond acting, he was a phenomenal voice actor, the host of the popular TV show Nobody is Perfect, and a lifelong promoter of sports. Audiences also deeply associate him with his role as a detective in the cult crime series Stories from the Metropolitan Crime Squad (Malý pitaval z velkého města).
