Dagmar Novotná

Dagmar Novotná is a Czech actress and singer who has been one of the leading figures of the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice since 1986. She graduated in acting from the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno and previously performed at the Těšín Theatre and the Šumperk Theatre. On stage, she has shone in countless roles – from musical characters (Hello, Dolly!) to dramatic classics. Her strengths lie in her powerful expression, natural humor, and ability to blend dramatic depth with charm and ease. Beyond theatre, she also works in dubbing and television, appearing in popular Czech series such as Modrý kód (Blue Code), Vyprávěj (Tell Me a Story), and Doktoři z Počátků (Doctors from Počátky).
