Maryna Smilyanets

Maryna Smilianets is a Ukrainian playwright, screenwriter, theatre professional, and journalist. She is the author of numerous contemporary plays staged in Ukraine and abroad. Her works combine sharp social themes with humor, folk elements, and personal stories. Maryna actively collaborates with both independent and state theatres and promotes contemporary Ukrainian drama. She is a member of the National Union of Theatre Artists of Ukraine and a co-founder of the Theatre of Playwrights in Kyiv.
