Martin Legerski

Martin Legerski is a Czech actor and puppeteer who found his way to theatre naturally – through visual arts, DAMU, and Prague’s Studio Ypsilon, where he began performing during his studies. After several years at Divadlo Minor, he hopped “on a good idea and a fast train” to ask the Puppet Theatre in Ostrava if they had a spot for him. They did — and since 2006, he has called it home. A native of Karviná, he loves travelling, freedom and mountains; if he weren’t an actor, he says he’d be a mountain guide.
