
Войтех Йоханік
Vojtěch Johaník is a Czech theater and television actor. Born in 1986 in Uherské Hradiště, he graduated in 2011 with a degree in Drama Education from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno. He started his career on Brno's independent theater scene with venues like Buranteatr and D'epog, before joining the permanent ensemble at the Zlín Municipal Theatre in 2013. There, he immediately made an impression in his first major break playing the title role in Eugene Onegin, and went on to perform in productions such as Ovčáček čtveráček and Baťa Tomáš, živý. Between 2018 and 2023, he was part of the Petr Bezruč Theatre in Ostrava, where he starred in audience hits like Špinarka and Šikmý kostel. Since 2023, he has been a member of the drama ensemble at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. On screen, he appears in episodic roles in popular TV series such as Případy 1. oddělení, Specialisté, and 1. MISE, and also works regularly as a radio host.
