The Bomb
Activist Dasha lives in Kyiv with her husband Filya, writes about the LGBTQ+ community, works hard every day and has mental disorders. But one day she notices a strange ticking in her stomach, as if a real bomb had appeared inside her. Is this bomb really a reward, how to get rid of it and can it change the course of the history of the whole country? The performance was played as part of the festival "Silence is not golden - a new fast drama". This is a joint project of "Theater of Displaced people" and "Two Weeks Theater" (Kyiv, Ukraine). According to the concept of the festival, the play goes from the conception, writing and rehearsals with the director to the stage performance over the course of 14 days. The play was shown back in 2018 and after a full-scale invasion, it takes on new meanings.
