Сабіна Шлахтова
Sabina Šlachtová is a Czech theatre actress, puppeteer, and lecturer. She graduated in dramatic acting from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno (JAMU), completing her studies in 2021 at Studio Marta. In her theoretical thesis at JAMU, she focused on the psychology of an actor before stepping onto the stage. She then worked as a freelancer for two years before becoming a permanent member of the ensemble at the Radost Theatre in 2023. Her repertoire includes roles in productions for both children and adults, such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ronia, the Robber's Daughter, The Snow Queen, The Little Witch, and The Jungle Book: Mowgli. Alongside her permanent engagement, she has also collaborated with other theatres. She has guest-starred, for instance, at the Husa na provázku Theatre (in productions of America and Les Misérables) and at the Petr Bezruč Theatre. Furthermore, she participates in educational and community projects. She has appeared in podcasts (such as REAL_LAVcast), where she addresses questions of identity and Romani heritage.
