
Мілан Поточек
Milan Potoček is a musician, composer, and theatre creator. He studied clarinet and piano at the Prague Conservatory. He has been a core member of the Divadlo v Dlouhé since its inception in 1996. There, he works not only as a composer, arranger, and répétiteur, but audiences also frequently see him directly on stage in minor roles, accompanying the theatrical action with live music. He has contributed to the success of many popular productions, such as Cabaret Kainar - Kainar, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, and About a Lazy Grandmother (O líné babičce). He also applies his musical skills outside his home stage, having been invited to collaborate with the Prague City Theatres, Studio DVA, the Kladno Municipal Theatre, and other Czech theatres. In addition to his intensive work for the theatre, he is actively involved in other musical projects. He collaborates with several jazz formations and, since 2009, has been the clarinetist for the group Jidiš ve třech (Yiddish in Three), which focuses on traditional Jewish music.
